Neo-Pagan Modern Thoughts On Society

Americans love to build up a star, idolize them, raise them on to that highest of podiums, then rip them down, throw them in the mud and stomp all over them. Its what Americans do best!

So we have both Charlie Sheen and Chris Brown. Two man-made celebrities, now rolling around with the other pigs in the mud of reckless abandon and self-absortion.

Normally the press is responsible for a large part in tearing someone down and throwing to the piggies. The press is really good at it. Almost perfectionist.

But these two cases are slightly different. Both falling stars have only one person to blame for their fall, themselves. Both have become self-absorbed, and ego laden bags of garbage plummeting off their podium face first into the deepest mud they could find. They have only one person to blame, themselves. Only one.

And both are really bad at climbing out of the mud. In fact, it almost appears that they enjoy the mud too much!

image of Charlie SheenCharlie Sheen is like a piggy clown, rolling around in the mud while balancing a circus ball off his nose for everyone’s enjoyment, especially the press. They have had weeks of great writing material supplied by piggy circus act Sheen. They have had a field day with Mr. Sheen. They should probably pay him for the constant, vivid material!

Chris Brown started as a bit of child star. Sure his first image built was that of a cleaned up hood-rat. But then he started showing his true, unbridled temper and showing a violent, uncontrolled side. He let the hood-rat take over for sure. His latest antics on the Good Morning America show have only added to his target image of a hoodlum, out of control, pounding his fists in the mud, whining like a baby, while promoting a sadly outdated album, and playing the ardent victim. Then a weak confession, false accusations against GMA and really weak apology for his irate behaviour.image of Chris Brown

The crowning glory is that Chris even recognizes his similarity to Mr. Sheen. He accuses the press of letting Charlie go out of control with no ramifications, while he simply loses control once (ok, maybe a few more times than once) smashes a window for no real good reason, storms off the GMA show while flipping his badly highlighted locks, and presenting himself as an even bigger piggy clown in the mud. This one can balance two balls off his nose!

They both make you proud to be American right? ummm, HELLO! REALLY?
