Neo-Pagan Modern Thoughts On Society

“Stay away from the crack. Unless, you can control it socially. If you can control it socially, then I say ‘go for it’.”

Image of Charlie SheenWatching Charlie Sheen lately, is like watching a runaway train going 100 miles an hour straight towards a cement building. We are just sitting there watching him disintegrate on National TV before our eyes. Train Wreck times ten!

But in his latest ploy to rectify his image and let everyone know that he has his addiction problem under control, like every good addict, Charlie Sheen offers this advice to wayward addicts:

“Stay away from the crack. Unless, you can control it socially. If you can control it socially, then I say ‘go for it’.”

Lots of addicts think that they can “control” their addiction. Its a sad truth. They have not attained that level of sobriety where they realize that the drug/addiction controls them instead! Once they admit that they are out of control, then they are on the way to recovery.

Charlie Sheen is not a good example of a recovering addict. He is, however, a good example of man that is out of control and headed towards deep disaster. He is working frantically to try and show the world that he has his life in control. Everything is fine. I just like to party. Nothing big. He even considers himself separate from other addicts in that HE can control his addiction.

Why has he been allowed to steam roll towards his own demise on network TV? Why has it taken this long for his owning network to pull the plug on his show “Two and a Half Men” and put him into unending hiatus? The answer is simple, money. They make money off of him. They make more money off him the more controversial he becomes and the more of a walking train wreck he evolves into. Shame on that network. Prostitution of human in need is not an honorable past time. You money is tainted with the blood of a dying soul looking for help. I wouldn’t want your karma in the end, no matter how much money you have pocketed.
