Neo-Pagan Modern Thoughts On Society

Today we look at page 3 of my iPad and its contents. I think some of my more useful Apps are located on this page and I believe my original thinking was that this page would contain Apps that I would use on regular basis at work as well as home. I need to revamp my thinking and move Apps around though, and part of my process of blogging about this is really forcing me to look at Apps that I use frequently and Apps that I thought I would use, and rarely do.

Today we look at page 3 of my iPad and its contents. I think some of my more useful Apps are located on this page and I believe my original thinking was that this page would contain Apps that I would use on regular basis at work as well as home. I need to revamp my thinking and move Apps around though, and part of my process of blogging about this is really forcing me to look at Apps that I use frequently and Apps that I thought I would use, and rarely do.

iDraft – This is a WONDEFUL note taking App that allows you to sort your notes into tabbed pages, like a wire spined notebook. Navigation is wonderful, graphics are wonderful and versatality is also outstanding. Very recommended!

Adobe Ideas – Another solid note taking App. I used it primarily to sketch out ideas that I have and can carry with me on my iPad. Its a good App but I think it has been passed by the other note taking Apps of late.

The next three Apps are all created by ideaWallets. They all share the theme of brainstorming ideas. I think they are great Apps and I would like to see more people use them in a professional environment and then give further feedback. My experience with all three has been pleasant.

Free Thinking – This is a nice App that allows a user to map out a progression of ideas. Very useful to create an algorithm for programmers and project managers. A good solid recommendation as a free App!

XY Axis – Another solid idea sorting and mapping App by ideaWallets. Laid out on a graph paper background it would lend itself more to page layout and design ideas better than the other two ideaWallet Apps. Recommended free!

Brainstorming – Does your office depend on meeting that entail brain storming sessions to get their next goals and objectives? This is the App for you then! This App is long overdue and very well done. Again a great free download and worth its weight in gold for sure! Its based on a timer, so you could give your workgroup a certain amount of time and one person could jot down all of their brainy ideas while the timer ticks away. It seems like it would keep meetings right on time! Recommended!

Secret Diary – If you want to keep a diary or you like to journal for your own sanity, then I recommend Secret Diary. Its a nice diary App that allows you to password protect its contents with a secret combination lock. That way you can take your diary with you and never fear someone is going to read your deepest darkest thoughts!

PaperDesk – A really nice note taking journal type App. It comes with ruler lined paper, just like you are writing in a typical notebook. Its a good note taking App that I recommend also.

iThoughtsHD – If you like to map out your thoughts, the new fad in mindmapping Apps doesn’t get any better than iThoughtsHD. You can color code your thought lines, related them to previous ideas and create a fabulous flow chart of mindfulness! I highly recommend this App and I use it fairly regularly and continue to see more opportunity to use it further in the future.

iDisk – This is only a handy App if you are an Apple .me subscriber. Its a way to keep your stuff in the clouds with easy access anywhere you go. But you must subscribe to Apple’s cloud based system, which is a nicely priced $99 annually.

Craigly – I am an avid Craigslist.org user. I buy and sell on craigslist like it is going out of style and love to window shop even if I am not going to buy. My partner is even more addicted to craigslist and uses it every single night. Well, Craigly is an App that makes craigslist that much more user friendly. I like the layout of the App but sometimes feel like it is missing something. Its probably just that I am not used to all of the bells and whistles inside the App and may not be using it to its full potential. Recommended!

PBS – Wow! I am so glad this App came out! Watch your favorite PBS shows on your iPad. Wonderful idea and really wonderfully made App. I recommend it if you like PBS broadcasting content.

DragonDictation – WOW! A speech to text recognition App for FREE???? Say it is not so!!! Actually this is a great App for those times when you cannot type or just allowing you to speak freely into your iPad and have it translate your words into text for later use. In my testing I can see that it is probably the best speech recognition software I have used in a long time. This type of software would cost you close to $1000 a few years ago. Technology has moved speech recognition software along in a timely manner and now we can benefit from a quality product for free! Highly recommended.
